No Taxing With Jackson
Payton Jackson
AmFest | 2025
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jackson moved to Texas when she was just 10 years old following Hurricane Katrina. After graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, she began her journey in REI, exploring the wonders of passive income. She has hosted hundreds of tenants partnering with Airbnb and local housing authorities to provide affordable housing.
Over the years, Payton Jackson has been a fearless advocate for principled leadership and community-first solutions in Dallas-Fort Worth. In 2025, she boldly stood against DEI policies in local institutions, championed fair congressional maps, and publicly opposed the Dallas chief’s decision to turn down $25 million to partner with ICE—taking positions many so-called “conservatives” avoided when facing opposition from the city’s blue leadership.
A longtime supporter of affordable housing, Payton has actively invested in local real estate projects that expand housing access and combat systemic neglect. She has consistently held DISD and county commissioners accountable for failing to address housing and infrastructure concerns, ensuring that residents’ voices are heard in critical policy decisions.
Through decades of civic involvement, Payton has combined practical solutions with fearless advocacy, proving that standing up for the community is never partisan—it’s a responsibility.
